Dancer-actor Raghav Juyal broke into the big league after he auditioned for a leading dance show. Since then, he has been part of multiple reality shows, turned TV host, became part of big ticket films like ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan etc. He will now be seen in Karan Johar and Guneet Monga’s Kill wherein he plays a rakish antagonist.Kill was recently screened at Toronto International Film Festival, and will be releasing in India on 5th July.
The actor during his conversation with News18, mentioned that his mother was very upset after she saw the film at the festival. She questioned his decision to pick up this role. Raghav added that she couldn’t recognise him in the film, and was very scared. He also shared that he gave his mother Shah Rukh Khan’s reference for the role, he stated that he will have to do all kinds of roles, and even Shah Rukh Khan started his career by doing villain roles.
Raghav also revealed that he got the role of Fani in the film by auditioning for it, he stated that he was shooting in Banaras for an independent film with Sanjay Mishra and Ranveer Shorey, when he got a call for an audition. So he went to meet Guneet Monga for the audition, and she told him that she has auditioned hundreds of actors for the film but hasn’t found the right one yet. She gave him the script to read and after reading it, Raghav was sure of taking up the role.
The actor is also doing another film for Karan Johar and Guneet Monga, titled Gyarah Gyarah where he plays the lead.
