In a departure from the original’s electronic synth-driven sound, ENHYPEN is set to deliver a stripped-down acoustic rendition of ‘I NEED U’, curated by none other than HYBE founder and renowned producer, Bang Si Hyuk. This bold reinterpretation promises to showcase the group’s versatility and artistic prowess, offering fans a fresh perspective on the beloved song.
Adding to the excitement, ENHYPEN will also treat fans to a captivating dance performance accompanying their new version of ‘I NEED U’, further elevating the immersive experience for listeners. Speaking about their decision to tackle this particular song, the members of ENHYPEN expressed, “[We chose this song because] we want to show a new side of ourselves through a song and performance that has a sentimental vibe. We all love this song, so it’s especially meaningful that we can express the story of our K-pop first love through this song”.
