Johny Lever has very successfully created a name for himself in the film industry with his impeccable comic timings and brilliant performances. However, there was also a time when he struggled to find work and contemplated taking his life.
In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Johny recently opened up about his professional journey, shedding light on aspects of his life rarely discussed publicly.In a recent conversation with a YouTuber, he shared insights into what he described as the darkest phase of his life: his childhood. Johnny revealed that during this period, financial struggles were prevalent, and there were times when earning just a few bucks was essential to afford food.

In the same interview, the comedian disclosed a harrowing experience from his past. At the age of 13, he found himself at the brink of committing suicide due to extreme frustration with his father. He contemplated ending his life by lying on the railway tracks. However, as the train approached, the thought of his three sisters flashed before his eyes, prompting him to reconsider his decision.

During his conversation with Ranveer, the comedian also reflected on his experiences working alongside acclaimed actors in Bollywood. When asked by the host if he foresaw Shah Rukh Khan‘s immense success, Johnny Lever shared his admiration for SRK’s work ethic. He expressed that he had never encountered anyone as dedicated and hard-working as Shah Rukh Khan.
