Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on Tuesday, announced the birth of their son, Akaay Kohli. The post was followed with an outpour of love and best wishes coming in from fans, the cricket and Bollywood film fraternity. While the news may have come as a surprise to many, according to a viral astrology column, little Kohli’s arrival was predicted as far back as 2016!
An 8-year-old prediction by an astrologer rightly declared that the Indian cricket star Virat and his actress wife would welcome their second child between the years 2021 and 2024.Baby Akaay was born on February 15, 2024.

The social media post which has since gone viral, was originally shared on Facebook by a page named ‘Stars and Astrology’ in 2016.

Announcing the birth of their baby boy, Virat and Anushka posted a joint statement on their social media handles revealing that the little one arrived last Thursday. “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world,” Kohli, said on Instagram.

“We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time,” he added.

The couple already have a 3-year-old daughter named Vamika.
Ahead of the baby’s birth, Virat found himself in the centre of controversy as he opted out of the five-match series against England citing ‘personal reasons’. The lack of detail about his absence in the matches led to intense speculation.
