In December it was reported that Karan Johar would be producing a full fledged romantic comedy film with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. The film is also going to mark the directorial debut of Shauna Gautam, KJo’s associate director on his last film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani”. Shauna has been part of movies for a very long time, besides Karan, she has also worked with Rajkumar Hirani.
And now ETimes has exclusively learnt that there are going to be two major additions to the cast. Our source has confirmed that Suniel Shetty and ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ girl Dia Mirza have been added to the mix. The two of them play a very integral role in the narrative and will be very instrumental in taking the story ahead. This would not be the first time the two of them are part of a film, in the past Suniel and Dia have worked on films like ‘Kyun! Ho Gaya Na’ and ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’.
Our source also shared that the makers are planning to release the film directly on an OTT platform and are currently in talks with to seal the deal.
