Yami Gautam is currently basking in the success of her recent release ‘Article 370‘. The film was reportedly banned in Gulf countries, and now the actress has responded to the restriction on the film by stating that she did not find anything offensive in it.
In an interview with Variety, Yami said that the ongoing ban on ‘Article 370’ in Gulf countries is a matter of perspective.The makers did not expect it as they could not find anything offensive in the film. In India, the film is receiving good reviews, and people are not taking offense to it. She added that while some may label the film as propaganda without even watching it, the makers don’t mind. She is confident that people will leave theaters with a sense of patriotism and pride. She emphasized, “It’s a matter of perspective – what might be jingoism for somebody is patriotism for me.”

She further discussed the theater experience of the film, describing it as one of the best experiences in recent times. “We were all clapping and hooting, and they’re all strangers sitting next to each other, but if you can infuse that feeling of oneness, that you feel good about something,” she said. She likes to focus on bigger and positive stories and go home with that feeling.
